Pre-Bangle BMW is my single favorite design aesthetic. The E39 M5, E46 M3, E31 8 series, E24 6 series, E30 3 series, 2002, and E9 are all all-timers. The E90/E92 (E93 is gross) M3s and E53 are the only designs I love from the Bangle era, and they've gotten worse since. So with a cage, a coupe is much faster to get out of if there is any kind of issue. The doors are like 25% wider. So this is typically better for track use. Also have better fov out of coupe doors having the b-pillar further back. However when street drifting the vast majority of guys will be using 10-15$ used tires from a used tire shop. i went from a pre-facelift to a facelift coupe and IMO i think the facelook is alot better looking however, the pre-facelift can look alot more agressive. with a new bumper and some mattle black girlls it will change the look of the car and also make your grills appear larger. you just got the car man you shouldnt feel " jelous " if that was the case you should have gotten a facelift. hell i 2148 posts · Joined 2007. #7 · Nov 2, 2009. the face lifted version is a more newer, stylish look IMO while as the pre-face is more aggressive, both can be modded with just the same difficulties except your going to find trouble when doing anything regarding the facelifted coupe headlights. they don't come apart like the preface and must be The connectors/plug for post has two columns. Each columns has 4 pole each. ^^^ Post-facelift plug/connector ^^^ The pre-facelift uses a 6 pole connectors w/6 brushing contacts/wires. All E46 sedan taillights are exactly the same shape. The difference between 99-01 and 02-05 taillights are electrical - different number of pins, voltages for the night running lights. I messed up my hood and someone suggested I put a facelift hood on I wanna know if it will sit flush with the headlights because I think the shape of the grills would look good with the pre-facelift thanks.
